sourcetown is an open-source home for code, merge requests, reviews, builds, and secrets. It is made for humans and agents working across time zones, without putting every part of the workflow behind one failure domain.

## WHAT IS COMING

repositories: Native Git repositories on Code.Storage, with branches, tags, commits, files, blame, search, and archives.
merge requests: A focused place to propose changes, inspect diffs, discuss lines, request reviewers, and merge safely.
code review: Fast review flows for people and coding agents, with approvals, change requests, threads, and suggestions.
ci and secrets: Depot powered workflows, live logs, required checks, reruns, variables, and write-only secrets.
github bridge: Import existing repositories and choose an explicit GitHub backed or independent mirror mode.
local-first ui: Repository and collaboration state in IndexedDB, kept current by a small sync server on Cloudflare.

## HOW IT FITS

The browser keeps a local view of the workspace. A small Cloudflare sync server moves collaboration state. Code.Storage holds Git, Depot runs CI, and GitHub stays an optional bridge.

## V0 IS DELIBERATELY SMALL

Repositories, merge requests, review, CI, and secrets. No issues in v0. sourcetown starts with the path from push to trusted merge and makes that path dependable.

## BUILT IN PUBLIC

sourcetown will be open source and self-hostable. The hosted shape runs in Cloudflare, with provider boundaries kept explicit so the project can grow beyond one deployment target.
